Description Larry Johnson CLA 2014-09-10 12:48:55 EDT
Hello,

The program was working just fine until my computer crashed. Afterwards everything is ok except it does not compile when jave file is saved. An exymple is the hello.java program. No new .class file is created and no errors are found.

If I create a new project. the same file copied into the new project works okay.

Obviously, there is a work around. But I have about 700 java files. It will be extremely tedious to create new projects for everything.

I even updated ran a different version of Eclipse, but that did not help.

I thought a preference value might have changed when the system crashed. But in looking at the options, I see no switch to turn compiling on/off.

Thanks,

Larry

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
