GEF should support Eclipse-SourceReferences as outlined at http://wiki.eclipse.org/PDE/UI/SourceReferences and verified by sim rel report http://build.eclipse.org/simrel/mars/reporeports/reports/esdata.txt

Ensured that o.e.gef.releng and o.e.gef4.releng both make use of the tycho packaging plug-in to add Eclipse-SourceReferences to scm:git:git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/gef/org.eclipse.gef.git and scm:git:git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/gef/org.eclipse.gef4.git respectively. 

Resolving as fixed in 3.10.0 RC2.
