Description Christian Pontesegger CLA 2014-08-28 03:44:20 EDT
I am trying to use the ECore Diagram Editor to open a new representation for an ecore model.

Therefore I converted a plain plug-in project to a modeling project (context menu/Configure/Convert to Modeling Project). A representations.aird file is generated in the project root during this step.
Also my .project file contains the org.eclipse.sirius.nature.modelingproject nature.

Now I select the Viewpoint Selection context entry and the dialog pops up. But it remains empty, not allowing me to select the Diagram viewpoint.

Not sure if this should go to the ECore Diagram Editor or to Sirius in general.

Hi Christian,

Which version of Sirius do you use ?
Does your plugin contain an ecore file ? I think it has not been added as semantic resources (and loaded) during the conversion, this makes me think about bug 436375 which has been corrected for Sirius 1.0.1 (see https://wiki.eclipse.org/Sirius/1.0.1 and https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/sirius-dev/msg00063.html).

Regards,

Maxime

Sirius Runtime IDE	1.0.0.201406040902

Indeed, upgrading to 1.0.1, removing and re-adding the modeling nature fixed the problem. So it seems to be a dupe op bug 436375

thanks for your support!

As checked by Christian, already corrected in Sirius 1.0.1 by bug 436375.
