Description Joe Gamache CLA 2014-08-18 16:16:08 EDT
If you set a breakpoint in the 'setInitialValue()' method and the 'get' method of java.lang.ThreadLocal, then for most tests when you try to run them in the debugger they just hang at 57%. Eclipse is 'not responding' (at least on the Mac) until you hard kill the 37.5 MB Java process. You should be able to reproduce with many of your own tests by just setting the breakpoints there. I am running jdk1.7.0_60, on Luna (4.4).

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
