This would require an actual analysis of existing VSMs to be sure, but my intuition is that most node mappings use the label position "Node" (to have the label inside the node) instead of "border", which is the current default. If we decide to change the default, it should probably be done in the VSM editor instead of in the metamodel to avoid migration issues.
