Description
Douglas Pollock
There was something in the SWT release notes about this breaking change. This leaves encouraging people to switch to using the new key binding architecture, which is probably best to happen post M4. There are two separate issues here, as I see it: 1. Breaking API changes in Event. These need to be cleared with Jeem and documented in the R3.0 porting guide. 2. Recommended changes to plugins to take advantage of the key bindings API, so they don't have to hardwire keys in key event listeners. This is not a breaking API change. This is also dependent on key bindings being available in dialogs, I believe. Moving Dougs bugs Is this still a problem in 3.3? PW Changes requested on bug 193523 This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
