If the Orion server is run in a restricted environment where arbitrary ssh connections are not supported, then SFTP import/export will not work. We need a configurable way to remove these commands from the UI for deployments where they are not supported.

We may want to consider removing the SFTP feature completely. It is getting no attention and has never worked properly for me on the three FTP sites I have access to. I know Anton and myself gave up on SFTP and moved our sites to use GIT.

Yes that might be the way to go. I haven't seen much evidence that anyone is using it.

We should simply remove this functionality if it does not work (ie. comment out the menu item)
