A couple of cases of this:

1.
- open the editor on any file with folding (eg.- .js, .java, etc.)
- collapse one of the blocks, Select All, Delete
- exception happens

2.
- open the markdown editor on a file
- collapse one of the blocks
- navigate to another file
- exception happens
