One of my daily frustrations with Eclipse is when I scroll through the output in the console window and the system (in this case Tomcat) writers a log entry to the console and the focus jumps to the bottom of the log output away from where I was.

I know that we have the scroll lock button, but manually enabling and disabling frankly just sucks when the most obvious feature would be for scroll lock to be automatically enabled:

* whenever you are scrolling inside the console
* whenever the scroll position is not the bottom, you scrolled somewhere and then stopped to read, which would have to be reset, perhaps after a timeout of x seconds or a trackpad gesture (e.g. swipe right).
