Description
Thomas Schindl
I don't think crippling functionality in modern software to accommodate 1974 technology is a step forward. Sorry, 1986. I was close, though. Many of us helpful answering types are perhaps not the most fashionably modern people, but the technology we build at Eclipse is built-to-last. For me, using a web forum has never seemed like a step forward in functionality, but rather something to accommodate blocked nntp ports... I'm not sure the details of what Tom is reporting, but changes to posts should at least look like reposts or replys or in some way notify via nntp, otherwise modern technical fashion trends themselves have crippling side-effects. |
