Download progress for models is always displayed as 0%

As shown in the attached screenshot the download progress of models is always displayed as 0%. But it should reflect the real progress.

There's a fix in Gerrit already [1] which doesn't yet contain test cases, though. Hence I am postponing this to 2.1.5.
