Description Kaj Hejer CLA 2003-09-22 15:48:13 EDT
It would be very nice to be able to export/import projects included in package
explorer when upgrade eclipse or running eclipse on more than one computer.

My projectfolder are located outside the workspace so I don't need to export the
content og the projects but just the references in package explorer so I don't
have to import the projects once more.

In addition to this being useful when upgrading Eclipse there are other cases:

- when I work on a colleagues machine in the office, I'd like to share debug
configurations
- I have a home and work machine. It would be nice not have to repeat the
incatations
- Share CVS repository configurations between computers.

etc.

This sounds more like a platform request. Such an export should be provided by
platform (useful for navigator as well) and JDT/Ui should leverage it.

This is not currently on the 3.0 plan but would be a nice Eclipse contribution
