Description Rafael Chaves CLA 2014-05-05 13:59:25 EDT
Please integrate the Quick-Search plug-in:

http://spring.io/blog/2013/07/11/eclipse-quick-search/
https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/quick-search-eclipse

Eclipse is so much better to use with this feature, which if somewhat equivalent is much more usable than the traditional Search feature.

I have been using it in all my Eclipse installs since it was released by SpringSource, and can't avoid a facepalm every time I use a new install that does not have it installed yet.

Adding Kris De Volder, IIRC, author of the Quick Search plug-in.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got
resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some
reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it.
The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you
still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is
(for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the stalebug whiteboard tag.
