I agree, we should have this. We could show them in the Commit Viewer, which would have to be changed so that it would show the diff for the stash as a user would expect it. It could also offer stash-specific actions such as drop and apply. See also bug 420936 comment 1 for some ideas. Note that you can see the changes when you click on the second parent of the stash.
