I plan on adding a link in the header to allow users to logout.

This new URL should accept a takemeback variable to redirect the user back to where he user was on the site.

site_login can already handle logouts.  See line 216 of:
http://git.eclipse.org/c/websites/dev.eclipse.org.git/tree/site_login/index.php

The problem here is that additional software tools that we use (such as Bugzilla, Forums, Wiki, Marketplace, etc) all maintain session/login state.  Should we be clearing all those cookies as well when we log out?

Should be visible feedback that the user has logged out?  If you're on Marketplace and you press Logout, what should happen?
