While trying to find the current build id I accidentally hid the header / footer and then realized there was absolutely no way to get it back other than using the keybinding - which I had to ask someone what it was since the keybinding UI is also gone once you hide the header / footer.

There must be a way to perform the following actions with the header / footer hidden (that does not require the user to remember one of the zillion keybindings):

1. use the preferences page
2. log out
3. view the keybindings popup
4. use all the other stuff that appears in the 'Options' menu

To start off I would add an action to the view menu to hide / show the header. Or perhaps when the header / footer is hidden show an 'Options' menu in the main menu area.

The current build id is only available by looking at http://localhost:8080/help/about.html
