It's possible that in some environments, the initial image creation for a user will take longer than the default connection timeout we use in the terminal. We need to be able to handle this case - preferably we would should a progress with "image being created" shown.

We have removed the terminal feature from Orion 8.0, see Bug 457990 for full details.
