Description Andreas Sewe CLA 2014-04-08 03:44:12 EDT
As I see it, the Source View in the Snippet Editor implicitly makes the claim that every snippet not only has a JSON representation but also the *same* JSON representation. This is certainly not true for our data-mined snippets.

IMHO, this view should be replaced by a "Template Source" page that simply shows (read-only) the JFace Template (as that doesn't belong on the "Metadata" page anyway).

I provided a change so address this:
https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/24729/

The page "Source View" can now be used to view and change only the code of a given snippet.
