I got feedback from a user who was trying to customize Orion by editing the 'defaults.pref' file. He set an unwanted plugin to 'false' expecting it to be ignored by the Orion plugin loader. It got loaded anyway, since the plugin registry only looks at the keys and ignores the values.

This is kind of confusing. Perhaps we should set the values to 'null' to show that they don't matter.
