This was by design - to keep tree at a fixed depth so that the less amount of space is wasted. But I can understand how the other view may be useful. This bug has not been touched for 2 years. Closing as WONTFIX. Please reopen if you feel this is still an important issue. (In reply to comment #2) > This bug has not been touched for 2 years. Closing as WONTFIX. Why not close as "LATER" and [help wanted]? I'm trying to minimize what I put into the LATER bucket by first soliciting feedback from the interested parties that the feature is still of interest. As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported. Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you. |
I20030916 LiveSync View, Compressed folders are on. -> every folder containing changes gets its own level-0 tree entry, like this: project - core extension/org/eclipse/jdt/internal/corext/codemanipulation - file 1 - file 2 - core extension/org/eclipse/jdt/internal/corext/dom - file 3 - file 4 The common parts should be in a common subtree, compressing only parts of the path without multiple children.
