I mentioned this to Denis at EclipseCon, but it would be very helpful to have Gerrit accessible on a domain of its own.  Telling people to go to git.eclipse.org/r is a bit of a pain and they're prone to forget the /r.

The git.eclipse.org page should also have a link to the Gerrit instance.  Perhaps each repository could also have a link to the respective gerrit instance too?

I've added the DNS entry and created the redirect, but DNS could take a few hours to propagate.  I've also tweaked the cGit navigation to add links to Gerrit (and Bugzilla).

As for linking a Git repo to Gerrit, I can't do that automagically. Projects can (should?) add a CONTRIBUTING.md file to the root of their repo; that will make the "About" tab available, and from there, information on contributing can be provided:
