Left side panel is not switched to project view when:
1. New page is loaded on project in editor
2. Project is opened by something else then clicking in the navigator

For some reason checking project.json was broken: it only worked if the file metadata had cached tree information, so when the event of changing the current file came from elsewhere it never run.
