This bug is to track "follow up" work to bug 429093, which hopefully we can do in Luna (M7). 

removing the icons from "executable feature", and moving them to where the "products are defined" seems to have worked well, for use with Tycho/Maven.

This includes, for now, moving "Plist.info" and "eclipse.ini"  for MacOS, to "rcp.config", which is at least "closer" to where products are defined (and configured). 

But is seems that there are some PDE functions, such as "export product" that still expects a "template" Plist.info in the executable feature so in bug 429093 we restored those files, for now. 

So this bugzilla entry is simply to remember to remove them is/when bug 429536 is fixed.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
