In a cross table description, with the Create Cell Tool an edit mask has to be provided. The corresponding variables (arg0, arg1, ...) are not available in autocompletion and in validation.

On a diagram description, there is a similar mask on Label Direct Edit tool. The variables are available within this tool.

From a quick glance at the code, it looks like the variables are correctly defined at runtime, so it may only be a problem in the completion/validation.
