Per bug 427942 comment 25.

======

Seems xtext is not cleaning up after itself as far as I can tell it creates folders like with numbers which I guess it's generating somehow like:

1392745239037-0

Each of these files seem to have a subdirectory inside such as "my" or "foo".

"foo" directories are typically empty and "my" directories usually have "test" or "outer" directories in them. These directories in turn are empty.

Whatever job from xtext that is creating these directories seem to be cleaning up files they are creating but for whatever reason aren't cleaning up the directories they are creating.

In my opinion I think Xtext should fix these jobs to cleanup. A good test Framework should always remove everything it creates after the test completes in my opinion.

Hi Thanh,

could you please double-check when these folders have been created? I recently fixed something in that area and I right now I've a hard time to find any remaining code that does not clean-up after itself. Maybe these folders were created a couple of days ago?

Most of them are from the 17th (yesterday), a few from the 14th. There are a few from today so I only pasted those ones below. In case it helps all the ones created today container the "my" sub-directory. Which in turn contains "test" and "outer" sub-directories.

Thanks Thanh, that helped to find some suspicious code in our tests.
