Description Andreas Sewe CLA 2014-02-11 09:08:57 EST
This bug exists to elaborate on the the project idea for the Google Summer of Code 2014 [1].

The goals of this project should be the following:

- Allow the user to configure multiple source for code snippets (snippet repositories)

- Allow multiple *types* of sources, e.g., ones backed by a web-service vs. ones backed by the local file system. The set of snippet-source types must be extensible.

- Allow the user to easily and uniformly import (and perhaps upload) snippets into a selected snippet repository.

Any other worthwhile goals I am missing right now?

While not all goals described here are completed, I think we should close this considering the gsoc has ended.

Follow-up bugs for unfinished goals can be created.

What do you think?

Fine with me.

The Gsoc has ended. Create follow-up bugs as needed.

Thank you, Olav!
