While working on a project (with the project explorer open) if the file that is selected in the editor is deleted it causes the navigator to jump out of the project altogether.

A better behavior would be for the deleted file's parent to be selected and opened in the editor view as well.

I have a fix for this. Could anyone with commit rights please assign this defect to me?
