The current descriptions for our features are very raw/basic (e.g. "Sirius Core Runtime", "The core runtime of Sirius, UI-independant and dialect-agnostic."). They are not meaningful to end-users to decide if they want to install them when browsing the categories in a composite update-site (for example in the main Luna repo).

We should provide better descriptions. See the thread at https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/cross-project-issues-dev/msg10036.html for a discussion of what should be in a feature name and description.

Description in feature.xml files seems ok. 

But see Bug 427278: in the feature tab of installation details or in the Sirius installation details (clic on the Sirius logo in the about Eclipse dialog), all Sirius features have the same name and description.

Note that in installed softwares, the expected names and descriptions are shown.

I cancel my reopening as names and descriptin are fine during installation process and in the installed softwares tab of the installation details.
