The documentation index page (http://git.eclipse.org/c/sirius/org.eclipse.sirius.git/tree/plugins/org.eclipse.sirius.doc/doc/index.html) is the first things users will see when opening the Sirius doc, but currently it is just a very basic list of pointers to sub-manuals.

It should be replaced with a nicer looking page with a logo, screenshots, some general information about the project, and of course the pointers (with more explanations).

On the first help opening, the Sirius help index page should adapt the page bounds.

The remark is true for http://www.eclipse.org/sirius/doc/ in a non maximized browser.

Fixed by 34607ef6b65894001987dd33ed6942343a25c148 which improves the layout in case of narrow browser windows.

The layout could be improved again for the help window default size.

Improved layout

See the resulting layout: the index title has been replacedby contents (h1 -> h3) and some max-width/width elements have been chnaged in the css.
