Steps to reproduce:
1) make an obstruction: directory instead of file
2) run Eclipse with Synchronize View open for the project
3) try deleting obstructed file, it fails
4) refresh the project
5) delete the obstruction (folder), then you'll get an exception

Reproducable: about half the tries.
