When I have multiple browser tabs open and I change the slide menu from being always visible to hidden (until I hover over it) that preference is not set immediately in the other tabs. When I move my mouse cursor over the slide menu in the other tabs it abruptly disappears.

I would expect either that the preference for the slide menu is different for every browser tab or the slide menu is updated as soon as I flip to an existing tab.
