I'll use this bug to track the KitAlpha proposal.
Comment 1 Wayne Beaton CLA 2014-01-30 22:39:40 EST
The proposal is posted.

I have initiated a trademark review.

I am setting a tentative creation date of February 26/2014 (pending the result of the trademark review).

The trademark has not yet been approved. We'll have to defer the creation review. I'm now targeting March 5.

Hi,
Do you have a date for the creation review of Kitalpha.
Thanks,
Benoît

I'm waiting on trademark approval. I'll reset our target creation date to March 26 in anticipation of the trademark approval process being complete by then.
Comment 5 Benoit Langlois CLA 2014-03-06 10:00:48 EST
I hope it won't be later because we have requests.
Comment 6 Benoit Langlois CLA 2014-03-24 12:21:04 EDT
Hi,
After discussion during the EclipseCon NA, could you please add Tristan Faure from Atos as a committer.
Thank you,
Benoît

I still haven't heard back. I'll check on the status. Let's anticipate creation in early April.
Comment 8 Wayne Beaton CLA 2014-03-25 15:10:02 EDT
The trademark is approved. I've scheduled the creation review to conclude on April 9.
Comment 9 Benoit Langlois CLA 2014-03-26 13:48:58 EDT
Hi,

Can you:
1. Add Pierre Gaufillet (Airbus) as a committer?
2. In the "Interested Parties" section, replace "AIRBUS defense and space" by "AIRBUS Group"?
3. In the "Initial Contributors" section, replace the first paragraph by "Thales will provide the initial contribution which has been developed in the context of the Sys2Soft (BGLE) and Crystal (Artemis) project and that is already deployed in an industrial context. AIRBUS and ATOS will contribute minor modelling features developed in TOPCASED. Additional contributors of the initial version: "?

Thank you,

Benoit

I declare this review successful!

Congratulations on your successful Creation Review! Please perform these next steps:

* Fill out the new project provisioning request (NPPR) [1]. Note that the form must reflect your creation document: specifically, the committer list should match.
* Let your new committers know that they won't be able to fill our their committer questionnaires until *after* the NPPR has been submitted and they have received their automated email titled "New Committer Request Form."
* If you have not already started, now is good time to start assembling your initial contribution [2]; note that code cannot be pushed to the project's source code repository until after the IP team has approved the initial contribution.
* Please familiarize yourself with the IP Due Diligence Process [3] and the Parallel IP Process [4].
* A "project information" page [5] has been created that you can use to share information about the project with the community. As your committers are provisioned, they will be able to edit the information on this page.

Your project mentors are an excellent resource if you need guidance, and we urge you to make use of their expertise.

Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions.

AFAICT, the project provisioning request form has not been submitted. Am I mistaken? If not, please follow the steps listed in Comment #11.
