I am currently using the orion.edit.commands to place commands into the editor for navigation or informational purposes. They do not need to modify the editor buffer at all. It would be great if I could contribute my commands to the editor for read-only files. Also, it would be great if I could return null or something so that I don't have to pass back the original selection.

Also, I should mention that while my commands are not shown at the top of a read-only editor they are still invokable via the hotkeys I assigned to them. This seems inconsistent and could cause problems for commands that actually do modify the editor contents buffer.
