This is done using CDT.

Previous/expected behavior: Double click on a split tab would maximize the editor pane (hiding other panes).

Now double-click has no effect.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open 2 editor windows with the default C/C++ perspective (with project explorer, problems and outline pane visible). \
2. Drag one editor tab horizontally until it causes a horizontal window split (two vertical editors).
3. Double click on either tab. (no effect)

Workaround: double click on non-split window and then drag over to split.

Added note: the split editor view appears to be within the same pane (the minimize/restore buttons only appear once, not twice.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
