Based on the images, looks like an issue with rendering of min/max icons. Hi Paul/Eric, Do you think there is an easy way for us to fix this in our Product before the main issue is fixed within eclipse? This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie. |
Created attachment 237503 [details] Product with edges of views broken When the RCP Product is launched for the very first time, or if it launched with the "-clear" option then then the workbench of the product shows up with the edges of the different views broken. Please see the screenshot attachment (Edges_Broken.png) to get an idea of what I mean. Once the user does a "Windows --> Reset Perspective", then things are rendered correctly. It looks like there is some rendering issue happening within eclipse that is causing this problem. The view corresponding to "Properties" or the ones stacked along with it don't seems to have the problem. The other ones seem to have this problem. I suspect this has something to do with the way eclipse renders the information in the theme css. Some additional information about our product. 1) We don't use eclipse's theme. We have our own theme (based on our UX guidelines) - for which we have our own css theme file. I have attached the theme css file that we use. (defaultTheme.css). 2) The problem does not appear with eclipse's default theme for 4.2, since the default theme of eclipse does not have border line around the TabFolders. 3) Our defaultTheme sets the swt-tab-render to null. It has the following entry swt-tab-renderer: null; Please look into this issue.
