Description
Simon Kaegi
After closer investigation, it seems that my index works only for folders that are several months old. New folders that I recently created do not seem to be indexed. I added a new file to test. After 30 minutes, it's still not indexed. But I am quite sure that yestoday when I added the "compare image" feture I added some new function which was a unique name than before. Then I decided to refactor the function and used search&replace, all the places that the new function was used were indexed. Is this at all related to bug 420991? The symptoms are quite similar, although that bug occurred in the old metadata format. Could be the same issue, or maybe 2 completely different ways that the indexer can get stale. Recall that we had to manually "fix" the metadata for the skaegi account because of Bug 421490 . Now that we have fixed the project list for skaegi outside of the server, are they automatically reindexed or do we need to restart the server? Just got my new file hit now. Not sure if the index happened automatically or manual actions have been taken on the server side. I can't find file for any files in my workspace. I cannot search for any string I know should be found. I'm in the same boat as Ken (and I think John as well) - no results returned for any Find File string. It's the blues. My find seems to be back. Same, my find file and search is working again (In reply to Simon Kaegi from comment #0) > Apparently my projects are not being indexed. Mark's are though so I suspect > something is screwed up in my metadata or ...??? We are no longer using Apache Solr on the Orion server for search. |
