Description Oscar Cairoli CLA 2013-11-12 23:14:44 EST
Hello. I've downloaded Eclipse Indigo (64-bit) on Windows 7 as well as the latest Java JDK. I'm trying to install the PyDev plug-in but every time it reaches 48% download, it reads the following error:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=epp.package.jee, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
Problems downloading artifact: osgi.bundle,com.python.pydev,3.0.0.201311051910.
Error reading signed content:C:\Users\MYNAME~1\AppData\Local\Temp\signatureFile3937703500691757050.jar
An error occurred while processing the signatures for the file: C:\Users\MYNAME~1\AppData\Local\Temp\signatureFile3937703500691757050.jar
Problems downloading artifact: osgi.bundle,com.python.pydev.analysis,3.0.0.201311051910.
Error reading signed content:C:\Users\MYNAME~1\AppData\Local\Temp\signatureFile7096874868371293112.jar

and so on...

I think the jarsigner is not reading the signatures, but when I installed Kepler, it had no issue doing so. I have tried this on two different computers and I get the same results. I have modified the PATH through various suggestions online and now it just seems hopeless. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
