Description Michael Golubev CLA 2013-10-30 09:19:59 EDT
modeling.gmf-tooling (or modeling.gmp.gmf-tooling - can't say for sure what is the current correct id) wants to have dedicated hudson instance.

Right now we have 2 jobs:
https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/tycho-gmp.gmf.tooling/
and https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/tycho-gmp.gmf.tooling.maintenance/

We also would like to start routing contribution through the Gerrit, I guess we need to have some additional plugins installed for that.

Finally, it would be helpful if we have an ad hoc HIPP user with right access to the download area as it had been done at Bug #417253 (comment 1).

gmf-tooling hipp instance is now available at https://hudson.eclipse.org/gmf-tooling/

Committers should now be able to login and create / modify jobs. Please note that you will need to use your _email_ address in order to login, unlike on the shared instance.

The Gerrit plugin has been installed. If you require any other Hudson plugins please reopen this bug and list them.

I've also migrated your 2 jobs from the shared instance to the HIPP instance and disabled them on the shared instance. When your happy with it let us know and we can remove the jobs on the shared instance.

Finally I've also added the HIPP user to your project's group so it now has write access to any directories your project has write access to.

Tried to log in with email 'golubev at montages.com' and password, which (as I just rechecked) works for e.g. bugzilla. Still only have an error: "Failed to login. Check your credentials and try again".

We tried some other committer's credentials, no success, using neither committer id nor email.

Have we missed something?

Can you look at https://hudson.eclipse.org/gmf-tooling/people/, it shows some of committers as emails and some as just IDs.

Also, the both jobs stuck waiting for next available executor, no idea what to do to resolve this (google suggests restarting the hudson instance, does anyone of committers have enough rights to do that?)

Thanks for any hints

You should be using your email address to login.

The executors look ok, but I've restarted your HIPP instance incase it was in a flaky state.

I am trying with email, it does not work.

May it be that IP 86.49.92.98 is blocked after a few bad attempts?
One of my colleagues was finally able to login from other network, but his login does not work from here.

I think the issue stems from your having created an Eclipse community account and using the same email address which is causing the following spring exception:

org.springframework.dao.IncorrectResultSizeDataAccessException: Incorrect result size: expected 1, actual 2

I've removed your 'extra' account and changed your password so I could test and everything seems fine. I've generated a new password and sent it to you.

Thanks, it works now.
