- initiate a Scope Search on a project
- ensure that "Case Sensitive" is checked
- enter a search phrase that you know will not be found (eg.- asdfasdf) and start the search
- the files are counted up in a green status message, and at the end it's left with "0 files found out of XXX"
   -> this green status message stays forever, but is no longer useful because "No matches found for asdfasdf" is now shown in the search results pane
   -> pressing the green status message's "Cancel" button then shows a new "Search cancelled by user" status message, but this only happened after the search was complete
