I use a lot F5 (Refresh) in Project Explorer. After a few usages where the shortcut works fine, it quits working and I have to use the mouse to display the contextual menu and choose to refresh the selected resources from the menu - it's a time consuming task for me and I've noticed this behavior since 2 or 3 (even more?!) versions before. Please try and fix this. Thanks! Great work, Eclipse team, for this great product!

I see you set this issue as the critical one, does it breaks the running Eclipse instance and you are not able to use it? If not please decrease the priority of the bug adequately

Maybe you see bug 246483?

Thanks Daniel and Dani.

Indeed, apparently this might be a conflicting situation where the F5 refresh key binding is interfering with the F5 Step In debug key binding.

I have redefined the Refresh key binding (^R) and it appears t be working ok now... I'll keep monitoring it. It's not a perfect solution, but it will do, for the moment.

I still consider this to be a bug, since, obviously, it's not a normal behavior: to have the key working at some time, but then, after you debug some code (apparently) to have it no longer functioning (may I note that during a debugging session I didn't use the Step Into F5 key binding at all - if it's of any help).

Cheers,
T.

Sure, it's bug 246483 ;-).

> I didn't use the Step Into F5 key binding at all

In that case you could simply delete that key binding and continue to use F5 for refresh.

Yes, it's another viable workaround. Thanks a lot for your time and patience!
