Description
John Arthorne
I vaguely remember this now, but we do actually have some basic monitoring on orionhub.org. It will send Ken and I an email if the disk usage exceeds 80%. I have now enabled this script to run on orion.eclipse.org as well. I have also committed a copy of the script for posterity: http://git.eclipse.org/c/orion/org.eclipse.orion.server.git/commit/?id=3387a43abf9c0a6e89148160b8a93b42654192f5 *** Bug 420011 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to John Arthorne from comment #0) > We should have monitoring on orionhub of disk space and Java heap usage, > with a goal of catching low memory or low disk space problems before they > cause damage. If memory is getting low we could simply restart the server > and log/email an appropriate warning message. If disk is getting low we > could just bring the server down and await admin action to clean it up. We also said it would be useful to know if one or two users are taking up most of the disk space. Closing as part of a mass clean up of inactive bugs. Please reopen if this problem still occurs or is relevant to you.
