Stack trace
This is the stack trace, which i have captured during call.
Hello Team, We have a functionality in the application, where will allow the end users to drag and drop the files from one folder to another folder, this will just do the copy of the file to different folder. This behavior is working fine in windows os, but this hangs in mac os. It will keep on consuming the system memory until it's get over, but still the call didn't come back, and CPU utilization is also goes peek(around 90-100%). And this is always reproducible in our case. What i can observer is, cocoa.os.objc_msgSend_bool(...) SWT OS call never comes back and always in runnable state. Please find the stack trace and call backs to understand what is causing the issue. I am not sure, what exactly the issue. since it's working in windows i am excepting it should work even in mac. If there is an issue atleast it should report it back. Thanks a lot for your valuable time. Best Regards, Kondal Kolipaka Which version of Eclipse/SWT are you using? Do you have a sample application or snippet to reproduce the problem? Can you also check if there are any exceptions thrown in your application? Hi Arun, Please find the plugin details below. SWT Plugins: org.eclipse.swt_3.100.1.v4236b.jar org.eclipse.swt.cocoa.macosx.x86_64_3.100.1.v4236b.jar Eclipse: 4.2 - Eclipse Java Development Tools Version: 3.8.2.v20130116-090414-8-8nFu3FNOfwKLRuqgXKIy9z0I83 Build id: M20130204-1200 - Eclipse Platform Version: 4.2.1.v20130118-173121-9MF7GHYdG0B5kx4E_SkfZV-1mNjVATf67ZAb7 Build id: M20130204-1200 - Eclipse RCP Version: 4.2.2.v20130129-152330-7IARAABrMQkGSvMgQnUlz-DQz00h Build id: M20130204-1200 - Eclipse Plug-in Development Environment Version: 3.8.2.v20130116-091538-7c7wFj0FFt6Zr9bd4AM1JEQMS Build id: M20130204-1200 @Lakshmi Shanmugam: Currently, this code tightly coupled with the application, it's bit difficult to build the snippet out of it. But i will definitely give a try. Regarding exceptions, i could not find any exception during this process execution. But system memory reached from 4.5GB to 7.7GB(8GB system), this has no effect on jvm heap memory still it was showing 124MB(256MB allocated) Thanks a lot. -Kondal Bug triaged, visit https://wiki.eclipse.org/SWT/Devel/Triage for more information. Do you still see this problem? Can you provide a snippet to reproduce the problem? Closing as there was no response. Please reopen with a reproducible snippet, if the problem still happens. |
