In Firefox (v17 ESR) when the text inside the editor is dragged and dropped (within the editor itself) the text is moved. Repeating the operation while pressing the Ctrl key copies the text.

In Chrome (v29) and IE (v10) dragging and dropping the text copies the text and the text cannot be dragged and dropped while pressing the Ctrl key.
