Description Srikanth Sankaran CLA 2013-09-10 02:40:45 EDT
BETA_JAVA8:

I have disabled CompletionWithMissingTypesTests_1_5._test0010() on Java 8
branch. This test fails when run under RunCompletionModelTests but passes
when run individually or in its full suite.

Basically the relevance of the proposal is coming out as 35 vs 36. I think
it should be consistently 35 - the type parameter hiding diagnostic is not
emitted in some cases - There is too much voodoo going on there, decoding
that is not high priority (See ResolutionCleaner class)

Retargetting to 4.4, will pull it up to Java 8 GA if time permits.
Comment 2 Eclipse Genie CLA 2020-04-23 00:53:27 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
