Description
Guido
This action is currently supported on multiple resources in the Repo view. Also, "Tag as Version" in the navigator (and other views) supports the force flag which essentially amounts to the same thing except the use must type in the tag manually (new in 3.0). It would be nice if there was a unfied UI for doing this (i.e. Tag as Version could have a second page for Tag with Existing or something like that) so I'm leaving this bug open as a reminder. My vote's for the unified UI. I spent ages once trying to do this from the Navigator view, knowing that it was possible (however, from the CVS perspective), but not remembering exactly how I did it. Tag as version supports the selection of an existing tag in the Details area and the enablement of the Move tag options. New Gerrit change created: https://git.eclipse.org/r/41482 |
