Hi Winston,

I setup a HIPP for the Hudson project which can be reached at:

    https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson-project/


(Unfortunately your project will have a longer path name since /hudson is already used :)


You as well as any committers on the Hudson project should now be able to login (using your email as the username) and should have the ability to create/update/delete jobs.

If you need any additional plugins installed please reopen this bug and let me know what plugins you need.


Optionally I can also add your project's hudson-instance user to the Hudson group which will allow it to write directly to your projects downloads area. We are only offering this on request so let us know if this is something you might be interested in.

HI Thanh, thanks for setting this up. I'm able to login using my e-mail. I'll open this bug with plugins I wanted to install.

Quick question about "Optionally I can also add your project's hudson-instance user to the Hudson group". Could you explain what is the use of this.
 
Is this for publishing nightly builds from Hudson job directly to the projects downloads area?

Yes or any other places that your project group has access to. Basically if we had the hudson user to the group it will have direct write access to anywhere you project group has access to on the build server. This could be useful if you want to have hudson auto deploy to your downloads area etc... but if you have no need for it we would recommend not to have this access.
