The OSGi early draft 2013-03 [1] contains a version of RFC 189 that enhances the Http Service specification.

This would be a great opportunity for someone wanting to make significant contributions to get involved with Equinox.

I'm willing to review any patches, github branches, gerrit submissions etc. for contributions towards implementing the new specification.  But I likely will not have the time to drive the implementation work for the Luna release.

Assigning to Ray and marking as fixed for Mars.  Ray did the original contribution to get the whiteboard implementation going in Equinox.  Thanks Ray.  We have been doing ongoing work and fixes to the http implementation in other bug reports.
