The repository view if you have clicked on a folder say org.junit folder in the 
eclipse CVS repository, and then you scroll up to say org.apache.ant and click 
on the + to expand that node the scroll view will jump all the way down to 
org.junit when the expansion is complete. It is very annoying and can be 
difficult for a user to understand why it is happening!

Tod, this is the auto-scroll behaviour we have talked about before. When the 
repo view fetches the children in the background once the cihldren are added 
to the tree they get auto-scrolled. This is confusing because the user could 
have scrolled, expanded somewhere else.

I remember you mentioned some solution for this, but I forget the details.
