I suggest that the Console should have a smarter autoscroll feature. Currently there is an option for "scroll to the bottom when there is new output", or the opposite "lock scrolling wherever you are", but I think a third option would be better. When I'm scrolled to the bottom of the buffer then I want to keep scrolling with new text, but if I'm scrolled up somewhere above that, then I want to stay where I am. Otherwise I'm constantly having to switch the scroll lock on and off which makes the Console difficult to use.
