Reproducible on GTK3.22, 4.8 M6, Fedora 27. I looked into this further, this is a platform limitation as the action is not natively supported by GTK. Does this work on Win/Mac? Either way we should update the Javadocs for the GTK side of things so end users know that undo isn't supported. If they need it desperately there is always StyledText.
